Breast Cancer Fund
The Breast Cancer Fund (BCF) identifies – and advocates for elimination of – the environmental and other preventable causes of the breast cancer. To serve their mission, the Breast Cancer Fund has published five editions of State of the Evidence: The Connections Between Breast Cancer and the Environment which has been used in their advocacy, education, and outreach efforts and disseminated widely for other advocates, scientists and policy makers to use.
In preparation for the release of the 6th edition, the Breast Cancer Fund contracted with Janna to gather input from stakeholders to evaluate the past edition and to strengthen the next edition. Janna interviewed key stakeholders and solicited input from a broader audience using an online survey. Over 200 people offered thoughtful and useful feedback. Janna developed both the key informant interview guide and the online survey, conducted interviews, analyzed data, and prepared two reports for the Breast Cancer Fund staff, board, and advisors.
