Janna has over 25 years of public health experience working with small non-profits, a state funded breast cancer research foundation, the San Francisco public health department, private and public university systems, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Most of her work has been focused in the areas of chronic disease prevention, breast cancer research, and HIV prevention.
Janna has researched and developed public health programs, conducted qualitative research, implemented small and large scale evaluations, secured over $6 million in grants, and worked closely with advisory boards and other leaders to design and implement strategic planning processes, evaluation plans, and a variety of public health programs and policies.
